About the Artist.- Tracie Kivisto I grew up the daughter of artists in San Diego, CA. Color, scenery, art museums, and gallery tours are my fond childhood memories. I transplanted to Tucson, AZ where I'm inspired by the beautiful sunsets, cactus blossoms, and southwest colors and designs. The colors and shapes of the southwest inspire my topics and color choices. I love bright and earthly tones and am drawn to unusual shapes and texture combinations. I would say my style is a loose, vibrant interpretation of real life. I paint as often as I can, and find that as I learn and progress the more I am inspired to do so.
